Shapoorji Pallonji Biotech Park Pvt. Ltd. , a joint venture Company with the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been incorporated for developing and managing the Biotech Park. The State-of-art Biotech Park is the first of its kind in India and would be the hub of the Genome Valley – an area of 600 sq kms around Hyderabad.

Known for their quality and expertise in developing projects, the promoters are committed to build the Park to international standards and make it an attractive destination for international and domestic companies wishing to setup manufacturing or research units. The Park is being developed in two phases, which totally cover an area of 300 acres. The Park offers world class infrastructure for setting up of manufacturing or research facilities, provide required Business Support Facilities and also house a state of art Technology Incubation Center with a pilot plant and analytical equipment carefully selected to cater a wide range of technologies. The Park also offer fully air-conditioned modular laboratory units with standard facilities and services for establishing research centers for conducting advanced scientific research.

In order to provide networking opportunities to its clients, the Park has forged alliance with leading Research Institutions in India as well as Biotech organizations abroad. The Park is a member of International Association of Science Parks as well as Biotechnology Industry Organization, USA and has agreements for mutual collaboration with the Research Triangle Park, USA, TechnologiePark Heidelberg, West Germany and the BiotechnologiePark Luckenwalde, New Berlin. Discussions are also underway with Imperial College London, the Indian School of Business and the University of Hyderabad for collaborative programs in entrepreneurship as well as for providing mentoring and business support service to Companies incubated in the Park.
