• AZEX is involved in manufacturing of health equipments for last several decades (since 1970). It has served many organizations of repute and created its goodwill. Its customers include many leading Govt. & Private Hospitals, Nursing Home & Clinics.

• Initially the business was carried on through a partnership firm under the name and style of Azex Industries. The organization was converted to a body corporate in the year 1988 under the name and style of AZEX ENGINEERING PRIVATE LTD. and registered under Companies Act 1956.

• The partners were the Promoters/ Directors of the body corporate and there is complete continuity of its quality of manufacture.

• The Azex Industries was a SSI Unit and was ancillary units of Indian Oxygen Ltd. then BOC Ltd. Now OHMEDA Olmeda a part of GE Medical System.

• Its range of Products includes Engineering Jobs, Medical Equipments, such as Anaesthesia Apparatus and Medical Gas Management System, Apparatus Absorber, Management Control Panel Unit, Gas Therapy Unit Mox Regulator, BPC and Fine Control Valve with Flow meter, Ward Vaccum Units and other accessories.

• Besides its own well equipped laboratory, in certain cases it also takes help of CMERI - Durgapur and Electronics Regional Test Laboratory (East), Government of India, Salt Lake for getting components inspected / tested so as to ensure cent percent perfection.

• Quantity of Anaesthesia Apparatus has earned ISI Mark from Bureau of Indian Standards and also ISO 9002 from Ministry of information & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi. ISO 9001:2000 Certificate and Safety Certification ("S" marmk) Standard: IEC 60601-2-13B:2003.

• Its own laboratory is equipped with apparatus as specified by BIS and is also approved by the authority while granting ISO 9002 (5358).

• AZEX Anaesthesia Apparatus is presently manufactured solely for Datex-Ohmeda (India) Private Ltd. A part of GE Medical System.
